NSHEN’s case repository is a resource designed to support ethics education by providing a stimulus for discussion and reflection. All cases have been taken from presentations that NSHEN has done in the past. The cases represent clinical and organizational ethical challenges encountered in Canadian healthcare but all details are entirely fictional.
This is an evergreen resource and we are updating cases on an ongoing basis to increase diversity, remove outdated or stigmatizing language, and update legal and political details.
