Rethinking Rural Health Ethics with Christy Simpson and Fiona McDonald
In this Fireside Chat, Fiona McDonald and Christy Simpson discuss with Marika Warren the topic of rural health ethics. Fiona and Christy are writing a book on this topic and share in this chat some of the questions, issues and concerns that have been raised in this context. In particular, they are interested in exploring further the ways in which our understandings of some values and principles in ethics are urban-based. They also suggest that other values, or ways of valuing, place, relationships and boundaries is important for how we might rethink rural health ethics.
